Definitely, my most favorite game, this tops Ocarina of Time for me, which is BIG, however Oot will always be my 'breakthrough' game which I love and cherish to this very day. Tales series, best rpg series, I won't take my words back for a second.

TALES OF SYMPHONIA

Tales of Symphonia (テイルズ オブ シンフォニア ,Teiruzu obu Shinfonia?) is a video game first released for the Nintendo GameCube and later for the PlayStation 2. It debuted in Japan on August 29, 2003, in Canada and the United States on July 13, 2004, and in Europe on November 19, 2004.

It is the fifth mothership title in the Tales RPG series, and was the third game in the series to be officially released in the U.S., and the first to be released in Europe. Tales of Symphonia's characteristic genre name is To Resonate With You RPG (君と響きあうRPG ,Kimi to hibiki au RPG?). Tales of Symphonia takes place long before Tales of Phantasia (hence a distant prequel).

I love that game <3 Like you said, OOT will always be my favourite and breakthrough game because it was the first videogame I ever played, but ToS is definatley one of those games I will cherish and love forever.

I don't think Oot is considered an RPG but more an adventure game, it just happens to be my most favorite of all time, topped by symphonia, thanks for the :+fav:

but I've heard that Zelda was just a RPG game since I was a child. Now I know it's an adventure game too :)

no prob, and Zelda perhaps COULD be considered an RPG (back on the NES) seeing how RPGs weren't really common, but it is an Action/Adventure/Puzzle game, simply because there is no 'battle' mode in which you actually fight taking turns or using some sort of system (Tale's real time linear motion battle system) or lvling up for that matter

Awesome stamp. I LOVE that game. OoT is great, but it doesn't have the same story that ToS has. Have you played ToS II yet?
